NOTICE: WOW Hall Mask Policy

We are ever mindful that we live in unprecedented times. We strongly encourage individuals to assess their own health risks when attending public events and offer free KN95 masks upon request.

We may receive notice from performers, from time to time, that they require proof of vaccination or a negative test from a source other than a home test.   We will keep the public appraised of any of these requests.

Eric Shares:

Thank you dancers for this kind invitation to play. We would very much like to utilize music and movement to cultivate joy and optimism during these sometimes fearful times.

This musical journey is custom crafted for your dancing pleasure by Illuminertia founder Eric Montross with live vocals from Emily Ra. A project born in 2004 out of the Secret Studios in the heart of San Francisco, Illuminertia continues to thrive as a collection of heartfelt musical collaborations with musicians from around the world. Our mission is always to uplift humanity by delivering soul activating music and art to those that need it.

Some of the featured artists you'll hear in the recordings are Evan Fraser (Dirtwire), Govinda, Heartwurkz, Saqi & Diamonde, Bubba Jones bassist of the Digable Planets, Earl Harvin the drummer of Air, Seasunz of Earth Amplified, Scrote of Remembering David Bowie Tour, tabla master Salar Nader, Bongo Sidibe of Dogon Lights, Tommy the bassist of Jazz Mafia, Little Star, Jef Stott, Emily Ra, Emani, and Rob Schrock.

Tea Service w/ Brooklyn:

Hello my name is Brooklyn Moore and for this dance I'll be serving two different plants to drink: One is the herb called Gotu Kola which is known to improve memory, help heal wounds, improve circulation, improve reflexes, and serve as a brain tonic. The other is a Green Tea from Hou Gang village near the Huangshan Mountains in Anhui China. It is packed with antioxidants. Both of these plants offer much vibrancy and information that doesn't exactly translate into spoken language (but matches perfectly with dance). So I've created two languages of my own, both written when I first start drinking Herbs daily...

I'm a Tea and Herb enthusiast and decided a few years ago i only wanted to dance, paint, drink herbs and teas, weave, sing, laugh, and love.

On my Patreon page <> , in exchange for monthly memberships i have a variety of offerings from woven art to specific teas and herbs and even tableware and tea storage containers.

Somatic Lab w/ Holly Holbrook

A little vinyasa, a little yin asana...

Bring a mat if you like although the practice does not require one. All are welcome!

The Somatic Lab: Is a space in time intended to support, inspire and refine our dance, to share with each other our observations, experiences, creativity, and ways of learning. This time also serves to tune the environment for the upcoming community dance

Consent and Wristbands:

We humbly ask that everyone continuously cultivate an atmosphere of consent, where our awareness of others' experiences inform how we practice our dance, and how we make our ways through the world. This means getting clear verbal or non-verbal yes's or no's from those we approach. If "yes", we are always sensitive to changes and endings. If "no", we acknowledge the clarity with grace and appreciation.

We offer Red, Yellow & Green wristbands at the door for those wishing to clearly, visually indicate level of interest in interacting. Wearing them is not required but please do if so inspired.

More in the opening circle on how we work creatively and collaboratively to create a dance experience expressing respect and overall awesomeness towards all; please be present and participatory.

Masks are optional, Please feel free to wear them if that's the right choice for you.

We strive to create an inclusive space for y'all to feel at home in your being and your choices.
