On Friday, November 10th, the Community Center for the Performing Arts proudly welcomes Terrapin Flyer back to the WOW Hall.
Terrapin Flyer formed in the early 2000’s and has since become a fixture of the national music scene, playing regularly at venues around the country and appearing at music festivals. The band has a dedicated following among fans of the Grateful Dead and other jam bands, and is known for their covers of classic Dead songs. Over the years, Terrapin Flyer has performed with many notable musicians, including Melvin Seals from the Jerry Garcia Band, Vince Welnick, Tom Constanten from the Grateful Dead and many other Dead-related musicians. Terrapin Flyer’s music has been described as an extension of the Grateful Dead’s improvisational, genre-blurring style. Overall, Terrapin Flyer is a talented and highly regarded band that has made a significant impact on the national music scene. Terrapin Flyer’s shows are always lively and dynamic, and their music is guaranteed to get audiences dancing and singing along. If you’re a fan of live Grateful Dead music, Terrapin Flyer is definitely a band worth checking out. Website: www.facebook.com/tpnflr
